Applies content learned through the formal training program in fluids chemistry volume and hydraulics calculations routine and specialized testing separation equipment theory and application and well site service delivery. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of company products and services rig operations and fluids separation and waste management technologies and related processes. Performs in a professional manner as a Halliburton representative maintaining good working relationship with operator’s representative and rig personnel. Conducts and interprets results of routine and specialized testing in order to provide technical solutions. Conducts the operation of some separation and waste management equipment and demonstrates understanding of how they affect overall fluid performance. Demonstrates advanced ability to adequately prepare and track inventory of palletized and bulk products and equipment spares at the rig site based on the drilling program and anticipated conditions. Demonstrates advanced ability to operate maintain and optimize equipment including testing separation and waste management equipment. Complies with health safety and environment regulations in all aspects of job performance. Mentors and helps in the development of junior employees. High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in STEM Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics or other related Bachelor 039 s Degree program is preferred. Community level dynamics may relate to gender cultural background age and tribal affiliation among other factors. The analysis will also include an assessment of existing local mediation and reconciliation initiatives including typologies of disputes and key interventions that have resolved disputes. lt br gt lt br gt In cooperation with IFES civil society partners operating the Democracy Resource Centers the Conflict Mitigation Specialists will facilitate a workshop in Tunis that will gather civil society leaders local peacemakers community activists tribal elders women youth and cultural minorities from various cities in the Eastern Western and Southern regions to inform the analysis. The analysis will capture community level dynamics in Libya’s three regions and identify local themes that may contribute to stabilization ahead of local and national level electoral events. The Conflict Mitigation Specialists shall consult IFES’ existing conflict mitigation curricula to conduct the analysis. lt br gt lt br gt The Conflict Mitigation Specialists will use the analysis to produce a report and a Stabilization amp Conflict Mitigation Manual. This manual will be made available in Arabic Amazigh and Tebu languages and used to carry out a ToT for Civic Educators who will train civil society activists as inside Libya and later distributed to the wider public as well as municipal and HNEC officials. lt br gt lt br gt Following a series of trainings carried out in Libya by the civic educators the Conflict Mitigation Specialists will receive reports from the trainings – including recommendations for improvements of the manual – and facilitate a roundtable discussion in Tunis to compile the reports and de brief on the cascade trainings. The information will be used to reinforce a feedback mechanism to update the Stabilization amp Conflict Mitigation Manual regularly. The updated manual will be widely disseminated throughout Libya as a tool for citizens and leaders alike to detect and mitigate violence to provide space for political dialogue ahead of elections. lt br gt lt br gt This Conflict Mitigation Specialists will be consultants with work from home and in Tunis and potential trips to Libya. Specifically the consultants will lt ul gt lt li gt Conceptualize prepare facilitate and report on a conflict mitigation ToT of civic educators in Tunis that will gather civil society leaders local peacemakers community activists tribal elders women and youth. lt li gt lt li gt Review output of the conflict mitigation workshop in Tunis and draft a Stabilization amp Conflict Mitigation Manual. lt li gt lt li gt Provide input to the preparation of conflict mitigation material to be used during the ToT for Civic Educators. lt li gt lt li gt Review and update the Stabilization amp Conflict Mitigation Manual based on input collected during the follow up roundtable in Tunis after the trainings in Libya. lt li gt lt ul gt lt div gt lt br gt lt div gt lt strong gt Qualifications lt strong gt lt div gt lt div gt lt ul gt lt li gt Minimum of five to seven years of experience with conflict mitigation and election violence issues lt li gt lt li gt Master’s degree in a relevant discipline lt li gt lt li gt Proven track record with democracy and governance programming in developing countries lt li gt lt li gt Familiarity with conflict political economic and social issues in Libya and or the MENA region lt li gt lt li gt High level of written and spoken English language skills – Arabic is a strong advantage lt li gt lt li gt Ability to analyze synthesize and present large quantities of information in an easily digestible format lt li gt lt li gt Ability to meet deadlines. lt li gt lt ul gt lt div gt lt br gt
